Amazon Fishing

The Amazon Lord

The largest and most luxurious yacht in the fleet, the Amazon Lord is your floating base camp for the week. Spacious air-conditioned rooms with two beds, private showers and toilets, WiFi, Starlink connectivity, a poker table, lounge areas, and all-inclusive meals featuring beer, wine, and Brazilian rum.

Fishing is done from Bass Tracker Boats with two anglers per boat, targeting riverbanks and structures along the Rio Negro. The river's naturally dark water keeps mosquitoes to a minimum for comfortable days on the water.

The Fishing Experience

Your day starts early. Guides are flexible and can arrange village visits or scenic excursions for anyone who wants a break. Every day you'll be paired with a different guide for variety. If you land a trophy Peacock Bass over 60cm or hit exceptional numbers, consider offering your guide an extra trophy bonus.

Fly Anglers

Bring your own rods, reels, leaders, and flies. 8- and 9-weight rods recommended (10-weight for Arapaima). Predator lines (floating and sinking), 60lb straight leaders, and large streamers in multiple colors and duplicates. Two rods per angler advised.

Conventional Gear

Baitcasting setups provided: Shimano or Abu Garcia reels, 7:1 speed ratio, 20–25lb line, 50–80lb leaders. Big topwater plugs: Whopper Plopper, Woodchuckers, propeller baits. Spinning gear anglers should bring their own rods and reels.
